In case of direct entry, candidates should complete class 12 with PCM. You need to complete class 10 with Physics, chemistry and maths. On successful completion of the approved courses, examination and assessment the candidate will be issued an intimation. There will be experience in trading ships, on duties associated with bridge watch keeping under the supervision of the qualified officer. There is a age limit of 20 years to both unmarried male and another five years relaxation is provided to SC/ST.
