i am geving exam of board and i want to became IG officer what should i do for it plz help me

What dose the police department, higher post ?

For becoming IG officer you need to attend civil service exam conducted by UPSC.

The eligibility requirements for attending IPS officer exam are given below:

- The candidate should be a citizen of india.
- The education qualification required is a graduation level degree in any stream from any recognized university.
- The age limit should be between 21 - 30 years.
- There is age relaxation for reserved candidates based on the government rules.
- The candidate should be physically & mentally fit.

If you meet the eligibility requirements then you can apply for the exam.
If you qualify in all the rounds you'll be appointed as IPS officer. After getting experience you'll be appointed as IG officer.
