You are BCA Graduate hence you can apply for Civil Services Examination if you want to become an IPS officer.
Just take care that your age is according to the Civil Services Examination rules. The age required for Civil Services Examination is as follows: General Category- 21 to 30 years OBC Category- 21 to 33 years SC/ST Category- 21 to 35 years So if you have the age then you can apply for Civil Services Examination. You have to pass three stages of Civil Services Exam with merit to become an IPS officer. First Stage will be CSAT. If you pass CSAT then only you will be allowed to give Mains Exam. In mains examination you have to choose an optional subject according to your Graduation. Then there will be Interview which will be very important step in your selection. The merit is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Mains and Interview. For becoming IPS officer you must have all the physical requirements then only you will be allowed to become an IPS officer. There will be medical examination before you will be selected as IPS Officer. So start preparing for Civil Services Examination if you really want to become an IPS Officer.
