How to become an IPS officer? I am studying BCA
I'm studying bca now presently in second year have just cleared foundation of company secratory exam . Want to become an ips officer what stepa should i take from now. Please help

The exam for IPS ( Indian Police Service ) is conducted by UPSC- Union Public service commission. First of all you will have to complete graduation to appear for CSAT exam. Eligibility criteria for CSAT- 1. Candidate should be of Indian origin. 2- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. 3- Age - 21-30 years. There are three stages of this exam - 1- Preliminary exam 2- Main exam 3- Interview www.upsc.gov.in |

IPS exams are conducted by UPSC every year.
Minimum qualification required to appear for IPS exams is Graduation from a recognized university.So after completing your BCA degree you can apply for IPS exam........ Age Limit for IPS exam: General - 21 to 30 yrs OBC - 21 to 33 yrs SC/ST - 21 to 35 yrs Defence Personnal - 21 to 33 yrs Ex serviceman - 21 to 35 yrs Number of Attempts: Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt. How to Apply • Register on http://www.upsconline.nic.in (Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above mentioned website) • The application charge for male candidates is Rs. 100/- only.
