Re: After BCA through correspondence how can I become an IPS officer?
Hello friend,
It really doesn't matters if you have done your graduation through regular classes or through correspondence. If you have qualified the exam and the degree is offered by a recognized university, you are eligible to apply for the Indian Police Service. To join the Indian Police Service, you will have to qualify civil service exam conducted by the union public service commission. Apart from being a graduate, you must be within the age limit of 21-30 years to be eligible for the exam. The civil service examination comprise of three stages and to get selected for the IPS, you will have to qualify all the three stages which includes two written examination and an interview. For further information, refer to the official website of UPSC. |
