how an ece student will be placed in software field?what are the other courses to be learnt?

Learn the Basic C programming well in your First Year . Later in Fourth year revise all the C concepts thoroughly and also CPP .
Later you will be eligible for software job . In training period they will give training for the job as per their requirements so that you can learn then

Being a student belonging to ECE branch you can get into Software field provided that you nmust have learnt courses related to get a job in software companies.
If you are in a 3rd year which gives you a minimum of 1 year period of time as most of the campus placements are conducted in the final year of graduation.

To get a job in campus placements you must follow the below instructions:

-->>First and foremost the basics of software languages are C,C++ which is must for you to complete.
-->>You can go for java after completion of C,C++ as it gives you an added advantage as it is one of the domains where you can get placed.
-->>For completion of C,C++ and JAVA programming languages minimum of 6 months of time required.
-->>For remaining time make sure you prepare well yourself for different rounds conducted by software companies.i.e
written test,
group discussion,
technical.
HR round.
-->>Don't stick to one company because if that company does not come then you will face a lot of problems once you get out of college and try seperately as the completion will be high.

Go for the mentioned courses and prepare well and get a job in campus placements itself if not you will be facing some difficulties after completion of your graduation.
