Re: How to prepare for BTech Final year placements? Suggest some good companies for Placements?
Hello friend,
At this stage, just prepare yourself in the aptitude field. Because, in company placement procedure one has to crack the aptitude hardle first. You need to make strong concepts in your favorite subjects. There are numbers of big reputed companies like TCS, IBM, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT etc. Try to solve the previous year questions of the placement paper of these companies. Moreover, take suggestions and tips from your seniors who have cracked company campusings. This will give you an idea or overview in your recruitment time. All the best! |

Hi,
Never worry about arrears as long as you cleared it. You have gained a good percentage. Sure, You can get into MNC's like Infy, Wipro or any other for that matter. MNC's never check for arrears, you specific scores etc. Many people with many arrears(cleared) and only 55% final got placed in top MNC's. The secret behind the curtain is that they possess good personality. So, All you need is to develop a good personality, A good interpersonal skill, people management skill, language proficiency, vocal, good gesture, attitude and all you need to shine in the personality test,. That's all. You're DONE. BEst of Luck. |

Re: How to prepare for BTech Final year placements? Suggest some good companies for Placements?
friend ,
definitely that will influence your records and personality as the subject was mathematics but don't worry as it won't matter much , just focus on the study to come and try to give your maximum and try to obtain very good marks in maths in next sem so that your past record could be undercovered .. But there is nothing to be tensed as you obtained decent score in 10th and 12th grade as well and also your cgpa is very fine , so you just need to focus on study to come and forget about past .. Definitely , if you are highly skilled and have very god knowledge regarding what you have studied in college , you can get placement in such companies ... Some of the good companies in which you can be placed includes Infosys , HCL , Reliance , Oracle india pvt. ltd. , etc . Regards ~satish |

There is no need to worry for that. Your scores are consistently good and you won't get any problem in most of the companies. Mostly companies require all paper cleared at the time of placement and so it won't matter very much. Very few companies ask for all paper cleared in one attempt. You have a good career profile so just concentrate on your technical knowledge and communication skills. You will surely get a good job then. Thanx |

Re: How to prepare for BTech Final year placements? Suggest some good companies for Placements?
Multinational Companies demand 60% marks from 10 standard till graduation/post graduation. If you continue to perform well and score good marks then you can get placed in MNCs. Generally the aggregate marks are taken into account, so you don’t have to worry about the arrear since you have cleared it. There are some MNCs who insist on passing all the exams at first attempt. Try to concentrate on your studies and score well.

Re: How to prepare for BTech Final year placements? Suggest some good companies for Placements?
Career launcher and T.I.M.E institute provide the techniques to deal with interviewer and how to give answers of their questions and in what length, because these minor things really make an impression.
start from good communication skill because that's what is matter at first, if you can't express your ideas then what's the importance of your skills. secondly your personality,i.e, the confidence level and your way of talking and behave. and knowledge is all you need to finalize your place and wrapping it up. |

Re: How to prepare for BTech Final year placements? Suggest some good companies for Placements?
don't worry you have a very good marks in your career. one backlog is not a problem as you have cleared. to get in a very good company first clear your basic subject knowledge. it is very vital to know your subject. after that prepare for apptitude because in every company first step is apptitude. you may study the book Reasoning by Agarwal. it is a very good book for apptitude. also arun sharma is a very good book. then make your english communication power is very strong. do all these things parallely. i will tell you some more important side. take training after your 3rd year from a very good institution. one thing is important that in which sector you want to do job try to do training from that side. training is very important for getting job. best of luck. surely you will get a good job in a reputed company.

Re: How to prepare for BTech Final year placements? Suggest some good companies for Placements?
Hello friend!
That arrear is not a problem but if you get those arrear at this particular year then it will effect your career. So take care of it. Almost every software company selects the candidate by two step processes but some will conduct it in four step. For first type they will conduct you a exam based on the aptitude and subjects that you covered in your graduation. Since you are looking for software company mostly they will ask you about object oriented programming, data structures, system programming, language skills like c & c++, oracle, java, pearl, php, etc. After short listing these candidates they will conduct interview where they mostly ask you aptitude questions and then lightly about above mentioned skills. This will be easy to get in but the four step process is somehow difficult because they will conduct two written tests and two interviews. Each section is divided into technical and non-technical. You must get through these tests and interviews to gat a job. Nothing to panic, its simple if you are good at atleast one of the technical or non-technical aspects. Some software companies that offer a good package are Infosys, TCS, Mahindra (Satyam), IBM, Dell. Good luck! |

Re: How to prepare for BTech Final year placements? Suggest some good companies for Placements?
HI!
You have secured very good percentage at 10th, 12th & even BTech. Since you have cleared your backlogs you won't find any problem during campus recruitment. Generally companies coming for campus placement requires 60% Throughout. As you have scored more than that so don't worry about eligibility requirement. In order to prepare for campus recruitment you should have a strong command over technical subjects plus you should also have good aptitude. Yes, off course infosys is one of the top IT company in India. |

Re: How to prepare for BTech Final year placements? Suggest some good companies for Placements?
hi friend,
There is no need to worry about placement since companies only require a cut off percentage and a clear (no arrear) BTech till interview at the time of campus interview. As far as your performance is concerned , you have got good marks through out , I dont think so that you will get any problem in placements. Since you are well concerned with your future , hence follow these steps: 1. Find and solve last years papers of Infosys and TCS. 2. Read various feedbacks of interviews and written test at various websites like www.placementpapers.com etc. 3. If you go through last papers you will find that vocab. is the only thing needed in this exam , which you cant prepare in a day or week. Hence prepare this from now. 4. Be in touch with your TPO about this. |

Re: How to prepare for BTech Final year placements? Suggest some good companies for Placements?
Well you should not worry at all,
Most companies will be interested in you... one star in a subject is not at all any issue In fact you have very good acads.. and if you prepare well for placements you will get very good placement. Prepare well for aptitude tests Verbal as well quants. Further prepare well for interviews ... i would suggest you to register on job sites in addition to campus placements. Preparing for Govt, organizations will not be a bad idea either as the same preparation with little bit of subject preparation would suffice. since you have not mentioned your branch , following companies recruit from almost all branches L&T,TATA STEEL, TCS,WIPRO ,INFOSYS, DRDO ,ISRO NTPC, JINDAL, etc. |
