Girls can only apply for the Indian Army as an officer after the completion of their graduation through Combined defence service examination and if your are a engineering student then you can also apply through Technical graduate course(TGC) entry after the completion of your engineering. Both the entries are described in detail below:


Combined defence service examination(CDSE)
This examination is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year. To apply for this examination you should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university.
Those appeared in the final year are also eligible to apply for this examination.

Age Limit
Indian Military Academy 19-23 Years
Air Force Academy 19-23 Years
Naval Academy 19-22 Years
Officers’ Training Academy 19-25 Years


Technical Graduate Course(TGC) Entry
This entry scheme is only for the Engineering students. A candidate can apply through this entry scheme in the final year of engineering or after the completion of their engineering.

Age Limit
Candidate age should be between 20 to 27 years.

Through CDS(Combined Defence Service) exam and Technical Graduate Course girls having graduation degree can apply for Indian Army as an Officer.

CDS conducted by UPSC twice every year for graduate degree holder within the age group of 19 to 25 years of age for entry in to:-

Indian Army Academy
Indian Naval Academy
Indian Air Force Academy
Indian Officer's Training Academy.

Graduate Engineers can also be admitted to Indian Army through Technical Graduate Course Entry Scheme within the age group of 20 to 27 years of age.

HI,
A girl can not join Indian Army after passing 12th.

If a girl really want to join defence then she can join after passing graduation.
For this she has to qualify the Combine Defence Service Exam(C.D.S.E).
and her age should be in between 19-24 year.

C.D.S.E is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

C.D.S. EXAM.(I), 2012
Date of notification:-29.10.2011
Last date of receipt of form:-28.11.2011(MONDAY)
Date of exam:-12.02.2012(SUNDAY)

HI,

Girl can join Indian Army after passing graduation.
They have to qualify the Combine Defence services Exam.

Age of the candidate should be in between 19-24 year.

This exam is conducted in three stage:-
> Written exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

So candidate have to qualify all the three exam.

Both boy and girl is eligible for this exam.

Girls can join Indian Army through CDS exam and Technical Graduate course.


CDS - COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II for entry in to:-

Indian Army Academy
Indian Naval Academy
Indian Air Force Academy
Indian Officer's Training Academy

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appeared for the final graduation degree exam or passed from any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 25 years can apply for CDS.

Yes girls also eligible for indian army, but for this you need to complete graduation and then apply for CDS exam

CDS(COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE) exam is conducted by the UPSC two times in a year.

-->Candidate should be a citizen of india.

-->Candidate must be physically fit.

-->Girls and boys both are eligible for this exam.
