Dear Aspirant,

No, you can not apply for NDA Exam if studying in 11th standard.

To appear in NDA exam you have to pass 12th standard. There are three wing in NDA as given below..

• Indian Army
• Indian Navy
• Indian Air Force

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army:

>>You should have completed 12th standard in any stream.

>>You are also eligible if studying in 12th standard.

>>Your age should be in between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

>>You must be unmarried , male & citizen of India.



Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy:

>>You should have completed 12th standard in PCM stream.

>>You are also eligible if studying in 12th standard.

>>Your age should be in between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

>>You must be unmarried , male & citizen of India.




Eligibility Criteria for Indian Air Force:

>>You should have completed 12th standard in PCM stream.

>>You are also eligible if studying in 12th standard.

>>Your age should be in between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

Physical Standard needed for NDA:





If you fulfill the above eligibility criteria then you will be eligible for NDA Exam.

No, you can not apply for NDA exam now when you are pursing 11th standard with an age of bellow 16.5 years , the minimum age for application to NDA.

National Defence Academy(NDA) entrance exam conducted by UOPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

To be eligible to apply and appear for NDA exam, one must be an unmarried Indian male candidate having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

Hence in order to apply for NDA you should have completed 12th and should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years.

you can not apply nda exam in 11 th standard because minimum qulification is 12 th standrad from a recognized university.



NDA EXAM STANDS FOR NATIONAL DEFENCE ACSDEMY WHICH IS CONDUCTED BY UPSC TWICE IN A YEAR.

NDA EXAM ELIGBLITY;-

The eligibility criteria for the NDA exam;-
-> one should pass the 12th from any recognized board with minimum 50%
-> one age should be between 16-19.5 years
-> For navy & air force , one should pass the 12th with Maths subject .
As you are 15 years old so that you are not eligible for the exam , you have to wait till you become 16 years old .
