i am 17 years old...i am apeearing for 12th board in gujarat.....i have taken science any my subjects are physics chemistry and biology.....how am i going to attempt maths paper? and will there be a seperate paper for bio students and if it is...den plz tell me about preparing it..!

Eligibility For NDA

Candidates can appear for the National Defense Academy Exam only if they fulfill the following conditions :-

1) Candidates must be within 16.5-19 years as on 1st July of the year of exam..

2) Candidates must either be appearing for their board exams or already passed out 12th..

The exam is conducted twice every year in April and September by the UPSC..

The exam pattern will be as follows :-

General Ability :- It will contain questions which will test your general knowledge, current affairs and aptitude skills..

The second paper will test your basic knowledge of your English, Maths and Science..

In order to join Air Force or Navy, you must have cleared from Science stream..

The next NDA exam will be held on 15th April,2012 but in case you have missed out on the last date which was 30th January,2012 then you will have to apply for the 2nd NDA exam which will be conducted on 19th August,2012..

The forms for the exam will be available in the market from 5th May,2012 and the last date to submit the form is 4th June,2012..

Other than the exam, you should also worry slightly about the physical parameters required to clear the medical examination..so go through the physical requirements necessary (enclosed in the attachments)

NDA- NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY is a premier training Institute for young Indian male under Defence Ministry Govt. of India for recruitment of Officers in Indian Defence sector.

NDA entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any discipline from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good physical fitness.
