I have completed my 10th standard board exam this year. My aim is to become a Marine Engineer. I heard for this I need to study B.Tech in Marin Engineering. So, what I can do to complete degree of B.Tech in Marine Engineering after my 10th?

Marine Engineering is a branch of Merchant Navy. Marine Engineers are responsible for the efficient and smooth running of a ship.

To become a Marine Engineer one should have applied for B.E in Marine Engineering for which the candidate should have completed 10+2 with PCM as main paper with good percentage of marks from a recognized board and above the age of 17 years.

So, to become an Marine Engineer after completion 10th standard you should have studied 10+2 with PCM and apply for the Marine Engineering course through entrance exam like IIT JEE, AIEEE, BITSAT, etc.

First of all you have to complete 12th board in Science stream having Maths, Physics and Chemistry as main subject.
After completing 12th you have to qualify JEE Mains entrance exam. Appearing candidates are also eligible to write entrance exam but to get admission it is compulsory to pass 12th board.
At the time of counseling you will get stream Marine Engineering on the basis of marks you obtained.
