you can join IAF as Women Pilot Trainees Age limit for IAF Women Pilot Trainees: 19 to 23 years. 25 years for those having Commercial Pilot Licence. Minimum Educational Qualification for IAF Women Pilot Trainees: Graduate with Physics and Maths at 10 + 2 level. Should not have failed in Pilot Aptitude Battery Test. OR Senior Division Air Wing 'C' Certificate. Physical Standards for IAF Women Pilot Trainees: Candidates should be medically fit for Flying Branch. Height: Minimum 162.5 cms; Leg Length: Between 99 and 120 cms; should not be colour/night blind or wearing glasses. |

Dear friend,
Girls can't appear in NDA exam. The eligibility criteria of NDA- Age limit- The age of the candidate must be at least 16 and 1/2 years and not more than 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam. Education Qualification- The candidates who have completed class 12th and the candidates who are going to appear for the class 12 or its equal exam are also eligible to submit an application for NDA exam. I am an MBA (HR) graduate and 25 years old female. Is there any chance for me to join Indian Airforce? As it is mentioned in the website, the age bar being 25 to apply for the Administrative role, at the commencement of training, but unfortunately at the comencement of training I would turn 26.

Sorry friend, GIRLS can not appear for NDA examination.
CRITERIA for NDA examination : Academic :Must pass 12th standard. Age:19 to 28 years. Sex :Male. Marital Status :Unmarried. So there is no chance for you.Don't worry there is many other jobs and I'm sure you will find out. |

Respected sir,this is Ruchika here .i m pursuing b.tech in computer science and now i m in 5th sem. im interested to join indian air force.so i just want to know the eligibilty criteria for it and the details about the branch in which i will work and about the test that i have to givemeans all that procedure to join IAF.what's the physical requirement in selection process .sir, is it good for girls?????? i will very thankful to you if you provide me the right path because it is one of the biggest dream of my life.waiting for your reply.its a humble request to you.

girl should complete b.e degree in ece/mech
she needs to give AFCAT entrance exam fot short service commission only.. but there is no chance for permanent job.. at first, scale of pay is 40000 per month.. all the best |

I think you have to go with CDS exam-
Here are the details- Combined Defence Services Examination Details (A) Tentative Schedule: (Examination held twice a year) (i) Notification of Examination - August and March (ii) Conduct of Examination - February and August (B) Age-limits: 19-24 Years Indian Military Academy 19-22 Years Naval Academy 19-23 Years Air Force Academy 19-25 Years Officers’ Training Academy (C) Educational Qualifications: IMA & OTA Degree of a recognized University or equivalent Naval Academy B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg Air Force Academy B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engg Candidates appearing at the degree or equivalent examination also eligible to compete. Such candidates will be required to submit the proof of passing the requisite qualifying examination by a date to be specified in the Commission’s Notice for the Examination.
