How can I join Air Force after passing 12th with 86%?
I have passed 12 with 86% how can i join air force?...pelase give me the details

You can be a part of any of the three branches of the Airforce after completing your graduation, Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duties Branch. Air Force Common Admission Test or AFCAT is by far the biggest exam conducted for entry into the IAF. Candidates after appearing for the written test has to undergo (AFSB)SSB . The written test is same for all the candidates irrespective of the Branch Applied i.e. Flying, Technical or Ground Duties. Age should be between 19-23 Years and aspiring candidates has to be Graduates (Three Year Course) in any discipline and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level OR BE / B Tech (Four Year Course) and should scored Minimum 60% in all papers put together. If you want to join Air Force after passing 12th then first you must appear for the NDA entrance exam and clear the SSB (Services Selection Board) Interview.
NDA stands for National Defence Academy. NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice time in a year. This exam is to enter into all three defense forces wings:- - Army wings - Navy wings - Air force Wings Eligibility criteria for NDA Examination :- Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Only unmarried Male candidate are eligible to apply this exam. Candidate must have completed 10+2 exam of a recognized School or Board and studying in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for Army wings. Candidate must have completed 10+2 with PCM subjects from a recognized board are eligible to apply for Navy / Air force wings. There is no minimum marks required for NDA Examination . Age limit:- Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years. There is No age relaxation for reserved categories in this exam. After clearing the NDA written exam and the SSB interview, recommended candidates will be sent for medical examinations. |
