YES, of course You can join Air Force after passing 12th standard with Science stream.

You can join Indian Air Force by appearing NDA entrance exam conducted by UPSC two times a year after 12th standard.

-Indian Air Force is the one of the wing of NDA.

CDS>>>Combined Defence Service



Eligibility Criteria for Air Force wing of NDA:

To be eligible for Indian Air Force wing of NDA,You must be an unmarried Male.

You should be 12th exam pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subject.

If you are appearing for final exam of 12th class then also eligible for NDA Exam.

Your age should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age. You must be Indian.

You Should have possessed good Physical and Mental health.



Physical Standard for Indian Air Force:








Eligible candidate can apply for NDA exam through Online by using this link http://www.upsconline.nic.in.

You need to pay Rs.50.00 as exam fee for General candidate and no such fees for SC/ST candidate.


NDA Exam has three stages as mentioned below...

-Written Test
-Personal Interview
-Physical Test



NDA Exam-2013 Notifications:

Date of Notification: 22.12.2012

Last Date for Receipt of Application: 21.01.2013

Date of Commencement of Exam: 07.04.2013

As you are from science side, you can join with air force. NDA is the gateway for 12th passed candidates to join air force. UPSC conducts the test two times a year. Unmarried males can apply. Age of the applicant must be between 16 ½ and 19 years.

After 12th to join airforce you must pass NDA exam to get posted for training

• You must have passed your 12th from any reognised board
• Age should in between 16 1/2 years to 19 years
• No age relaxation is provided in any case.
• Only Unmarried Male candidates allowed.

Selection procedure :

• Written exam
• general knowledge
• physical test
