how can i join army after completed diploma in mechanical engineering?

You can join Army through NDA exam on the basis of your 12th class qualification.

UPSC conducts NDA exam twice a year with the name;NDA I and NDA II.The candidate who wishes to join Indian Army has to clear the entrance exam conducted by UPSC.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.It has three wings;

Indian Military Academy.

Indian Naval Academy.

Indian Air Force Academy.

The criteria which has to be fulfilled to get admission in NDA are following:-

-The candidate must be a citizen of India.

-The age limit for the candidate is 16.5 years to 19 years.

-Only unmarried male candidate can apply for the exam.

-The qualification required to join NDA is 12th class of 10+2 education system from a recognized board for Indian Military Academy and 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics for Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.

-The candidate should be physically fit as per the Physical Standards required to join NDA.

-The minimum height for a NDA candidate to join Indian Army should not be less than 157 cm.

-The selection process involves of

* written examination

* personal interview by Service Selection Board(SSB).

After passing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering you are not eligible for Indian Army.

If you want to join as Solider then you can join but if you want to join as officer then you have two option:-
> N.D.A(After passing 12th with any stream)
> C.D.S(After passing graduation with any stream)

Both N.D.A and C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

There are two stage of selection:-
> Written exam
> S.S.B

Age limit for N.D.A is 16-19 year

Age limit for C.D.S is 19-15 year.

In my opinion after completing diploma you do B.tech in Mechanical Engineering after that you can apply for Indian Army.

Yes you can definitely give join the army after diploma.

You will have to give the NDA entrance exam for that.
There are some criteria's though i.e
->Your age has to be between 16 and 19.
->Your eyesight and physical built should be right.
->You should not have any chronic diseases or any sort of mental distress.
