how can i join llb after +2 in arts...pleaes tell me how can i join it

You can apply for 5 year integrated LL.B course. Admission to this course is done through CLAT. Candidates with a minimum of 45% marks in 12th can apply. The SC/ST candidates can have 5% relaxation in marks. The upper age limit to apply is 20 years.

Generally there is two ways to do the LLB course.

First after the 10+2,the eligibility for this is:

>> You must have scored at least 50% in 10+2 from any stream.

>> Your age should not exceed 20 years.

>> You have to qualify for the CLAT examinations.

>> CLAT stands for common law admission test.

>> The duration of this LLB course is five years.

After qualifying this examination with good marks ,you are eligible to get admission in good colleges which offers this course.


Second is doing LLB after graduation.

>> The duration for this LLB is only 3 years.

>> Grdauation in any stream from a recognised university in any stream.

Yes, you can join law course after completing your 10+2. You can opt for B.A.LL.B program to get into law after 10+2. B.A.LL.B. is the integrated double degree course combines Bachelors’ degree course in Arts together with the Bachelors’ degree course in law. The five-year degree programme provides a foundation in social sciences and humanities.

Eligibility for BA LLB five year program: -

• You should have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks from any recognised board.

• Admission will be based on UPES Law Studies Aptitude Test (UL-SAT)/ Board Merit/Common Law Admission Test- CLAT Merit/ Law School Admission Test- LSAT Merit followed by Group Discussion & Interview.

Since you have completed 12th standard, you should apply for the BA LLB course. The duration of this course is 5 years in comparison to normal 3 years LLB course.

The reason for longer duration is that it includes a Bachelor's degree course and integrates it with LLB. Which is why the courses offered are BA LLB, BBA LLB, B.Com LLB etc.

Since you need to have graduation degree to apply for law course. If you have passed 12th standard then there is no reason to first complete graduation and then take admission for LLB when you can have both courses integrated. However if you have completed graduation then 3 years LLB is the perfect option.

To apply for the BA LLB course you will have to clear Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). This test is conducted for National Law Universities in India.


CLAT Eligibility

1. You will first have to complete 12th standard.

2. You can choose any subjects for 12th Class.

3. Marks in 12th should be 45 percent.

4. The requirement is 40 percent for SC/ST and PWD.

5. Age limit is 20 years for CLAT.

6. There is 2 years relaxation for SC/ST/PWD.


Exam Pattern

2) General Knowledge/ Current Affairs

3) Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability)

After passing 12th Arts you can surely join Law course but you have to appear for an entrance exam for getting admission into a top law colleges.

Law after 12th class is of 5 years duration and there is an All India level entrance exam conducted which is known as CLAT (Common Law Admission Test).

If you want to get admission into the top law colleges then apply for CLAT.

Age Limit for CLAT:

For the 5 years course which is after 12th class you must be below 20 years of age.

There is age relaxation available to reserved category candidates.

Exam Pattern:

There will be negative marking in this exam so attempt with care.

after completing c;lass 12th from arts stream you are definitely eligible for llb by cracking CLAT which stands for common law admission test ,

after 12th you can go 5 year integrated law course,

eligibility for clat :

must be 12th passed from a recognized board

must have scored 45% minimum to be eligible for the exam

5% relaxation for sc/st students

there is no relaxation in marks for obc students

no minimum age limit for clat exam

maximum age limit allowed is 20 years

now in 2020 admission CLAT is require or not? some people says that CLAT not require now u can do direct admission for LLB

After 12th you can opt for integrated course like BA LLB or Bcom LLB or BBA LLB which is of 5 years. The benefit of doing integrated course is that it actually saves 1 years.
