How can I be a Physicist by joining IIT or NIT? Which group to take and which exams to write to become a Physicist?


Sir my aim is to become a physicist. Is it possible to be a physicist through IIT(NIT)? If it is possible which group should be taken in IIT(NIT) please tell me in detail explanation. After IIT what should do. Please tell me what group should take, what type exam should write, what types groups are there in physicist, etc.

Yes, to become a physicist you have to pursue higher degree in physics. But, to get admission it is necessary that candidate must have passed 12th with PCM.

So, after 12th you can take admission in IIT and NIT and after that continue your course till Doctoral degree.

IIT and NIT offers M.Sc, and Ph.D degree.
