hi...to prepare for the mbs exams you have to start right from the basics all again becuse the questions asked in the exam exactly the basics only,if your basic maths is strong then you can do really well in the quantitative section of the mba examination, also you have to regularly read newspapers to make your verbal section strong and also try to learn as many new words as possible daily because haveing good vocablury means good score in the bverbal section ,and also you need lots of practice for the data interpretation and the reasoning section, yopu can not just simply solve these parts of the papers without any practice ,
its better to take some kind of coaching ,the time institute is the best coaching institute for the mba course so you should definately think of joining it for sure ,also the materials of sd sharma and also ims are really helpful to do well in the mba examination,
over all to do well in mba you ahve to prepare well and do lots of smart and hard work both to succeed

Hi

MBA stands for the Master's in Business Administration. It is basically a full time 2 year post graduation program which deals with the Business Studies, Economics, Business matters, etc.

The main streams in MBA these days are the Finance, Human Resource, Sales and Marketing, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Hotel and Retail Management etc...

Now if you want to take up MBA, then you have to be a minimum graduate before doing so. Hence first of all complete your graduation in whatever stream you are doing.

After that you have to sit for the entrance exams like CAT, GMAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, Jamia, etc...

Thus for the preparation of such exams it is always advised that you take up some coaching in T.I.M.E, Career Launcher and similar reputated academies.
You would always be in touch of the syllabus and have enough practicing.

The best time to start preparing for the MBA entrances is while in the pre final year of your graduation.

One more thing to note is that the Final Year Students can also apply for the same.

You can also go through the MBA Preparations books Here, and then buy some for yourself. Take time out to study them.

Please Visit Here to get strategies to crack such exams.

Hope this helps

All the best.

Nice to see that you are planning for MBA. There are many entrance exams for MBA Like CAT, MAT, GMAT, SNAP and other State and Institute level Entrance Exams.

-The syllabus & pattern of entrance exams are differ from one to other. However, The common & major part of all entrance exams usually asked are reasoning, antonyms, case analysis, general awareness, intelligence, comprehension, synonyms, relationships, word power, quantitative aptitude, etc

-So to crack any MBA exam you should mainly focus on:->

Quantitative Aptitude
Logical Reasoning,
Reading Comprehension
General Awareness.

#The MBA question paper will include questions based on above topics.

::STUDY PLAN::

-Now you have to sensibly plan your study. Divide your whole study Program in sections & allocate a time to each section and try to complete each section in decided time. Be consistent during whole preparation period. This criteria will help you to easily cover all topics/syllabus.

-For improving vocabulary power, it is good to start reading newspapers and study some new words daily. Always study with full interest & confidence & clear your all doubt by giving practice test to find out your weak point. Overcome your weak portion by hard work & extra study for that portion.

-Develop concepts in your mind for Mental ability & reasoning type question. Always concentrate on those subject/portions from which more number of questions would be asked.
Just be with these things & I am sure you will get succeed in any MBA exam.
