In order to prepare for the NDA Exam in a short span of time, one must stick to the basic, instead of experimenting with new techniques of study.
The basic procedure to prepare for the exam includes the following:

• Follow the syllabus of the examination, which is as follows:

Paper-I:Mathematics
Algebra-Matrices and Determinants-Geometry-Trigonometry-Differential Calculus-Integral Calculus-Vector Algebra-Statistics-Probability.

Paper-II:General Ability Test
English-Physics-Chemistry-General Science-History-Geography-Current Event

Now, since you want to prepare in a short span of time, it won't be possible to thoroughly go for each topics in every subject, so, you need to follow the second step of the basic procedure to prepare for the exam, which is,

• Refer to the Previous year question papers (atleast of past ten years). This will help you to understand and sort out the important topics of each subject.

• Join a coaching center offering crash course for NDA examination and if it is not available, you may join crash courses offered by coaching centers for individual subjects in general.

NDA exam will be conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.
