Re: How can I qualify for SI job in Police having backlogs in B.Tech?
You can apply for the SI post after B.Tech course but you cannot get selected if you have backlogs. You can be selected only after completing B.Tech course.
To become a SI you must have the following qualification : 1. You must be a citizen of India. 2. You must have completed degree in any stream from a recognised university. 3. The age limit for applying for the post of SI is 20 - 25 years. 4. The upper age relaxation for OBC's is 3 years , SC/ST is 5 years. You finish your backlogs and try for SI post, there will be no problem. |

It is not possible to apply for SI if you have backlogs in your degree course.
So it will be best option for you if you complete your backlogs as soon as possible & then apply for the exam. Age must be in between 20 to 25 years. Age relaxation are applicable for different reserve categories candidates as per government rules. Selection procedure:- Physical efficiency test,Written test & Interview. You must have completed graduation degree in any discipline from recognized university. |

SI stands for the Sub Inspector. In order to get selected as the Sub Inspector, you must apply for the entrance exams conducted by the different examination conducting authority.
The eligibility criteria is that candidate must have completed bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with even passing percentage of marks. Candidate must not have any active pending backlog. As you have backlogs in bachelor of technology, you are not eligible for the entrance exam. First clear all your previous backlogs then only, you can apply for the exam. |

Re: How can I qualify for SI job in Police having backlogs in B.Tech?
Here is the details about the SI in police :
Eligibility: The applicant should have Graduation Degree with good academic record from any recognized board of India. Important dates: ** Starting date to apply Online: - 1st April 2016 ** Last date for Submission Online: - 21st April 2016 Age Requirements: Applicant’s adulthood will be 19 to 28 years as on 1st August 2016 and age relaxation will be applicable as per the government rules. If you have backlog then you must have to clear all the backlogs first. So my suggestion to you is that you should work hard and study the all backlog subjects with full of dedication and clear all the backlogs. Only then you can apply for the SI exam. |

Re: How can I qualify for SI job in Police having backlogs in B.Tech?
Sorry, with the backlogs in the B.Tech course you are not eligible to appear for the examination.
To appear for the SI examination conducted by the SSC the eligibility criteria is :- * Candidates must have passed the graduation from the recognised university. * Candidates age must be between the 19-28 years with the relaxation for the reserved category. So, you need to clear all the backlogs to appear for the examination. For more information about the examination visit at the www.ssc.nic.in. |

No, to appear for any competitive examination at the graduation qualification you are not eligible with the backlog. The same is for the SI examination.
To appear for the examination you have to clear all the backlog. So you need to clear all the backlog and get the graduation degree from the recognised university to appear for the examination. |
