Eligibilty to apply for the CAT exams is:
Graduation pass in any stream with minimum 50% marks for General and OBC candidates and minimum 45% marks for the SC/ST candidates.
Final year Graduation students can also apply


In CAT exams questions are asked from below sections:
Verbal Ability
Logical Reasoning
Quantitative Ability
Data Interpretation

Important Dates for CAT 2013

Sale of vouchers: 29th July 2013 to 24th September 2013
Registrations: 5th Aug 2013 to 26th September 2013
Exam dates: 16th October 2013 to 11th November 2013
CAT result- 14th January 2014

CAT Registration Fees:
Rs 1600/- General and OBC candidates
Rs 800/- SC/ST/PWD candidates

Dear Friend

CAT stands for the Common Admission test .One of the most sought as well as tough entrance exam for getting into the best B schools of India for the Master's degree in Business administration.

Its is IIM that is Indian Institute of Management not IIMA.

In order to get into IIM,you will have to crack the CAT exam which is a computer based online test conducted by the IIMs.

Generally ,it requires that candidate must have done bachelor's degree in any discipline a recognized university with at least 50% of marks in it .

IF you are in final year of graduation then also you can go for the CAT.

There is no upper age limit as well as no bar on number of attempts of exam.
