You can apply for CAT any number of times and there is no consecutive rule for CAT in my opinion. Hence, you can apply for it without any worry. Just be prepared for the exam and if you get admission into a good college, then you have to show the gap certificate.

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% marks in the required qualification for CAT. The degree should be from a recognized university.

There is no age limit for CAT and also there is no limit in attempts for CAT. Therefore, you can apply for any number of times but be prepared for it, so that you don't have to appear for it many times.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
