You can apply for the college transfer in your first year. There are various procedures or conditions on the basis of which you can apply for the college transfer.

You can apply for the college transfer if you fall in any of the category which are mentioned below:

If he/she has fallen ill after joining the source institute

In the eventuality of death of both parent/guardian, or the parent
is/are suffering from diseases like Cancer and AIDS

In the event of harassment of a female student

You will not transfer from a private college to a government autonomous college or vice-versa in any case, whatsoever the reason maybe.

you can apply for lateral entry tests in other universities like THAPAR UNIVERSITY
through which you can get admission in second semester or in second year.
or you can give entrance like AIEEE,IIT etc this year to change the college

Yes,you can change the university/college in first year.

all you have to do is collect the transfer certificate from the college in which you can studied now.

then send it to that college/university in which you can interested to get admission.
