How to do B.Tech through lateral entry from MNIT, Jaipur or VIT if I am a student of diploma 3rd year EEE

i am student of diploma 3rd year in EEE and after diploma want to do b.tech through lateral entry either from MNIT ,JAIPUR or VIT ,vellore/chennei .please tell me the procedure and admission criteria. i also want to know that can i switch from my current stream i.e.EEE to ECE or not.please sir reply me.
