i want to do INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE(IES),I had completed B.com,I want to study M.A eco in best university in india ?

It is one of the most competitive examination like IAS.

IES examination is conduct by UPSC once every year and you can apply online through their official website when UPSC issue notification of written Examination for IES.

Minimum Eligibility for IES

• MA in Economics/Applied Economics/MA in Mathematics/M.Sc in Mathematics from recognized university
• Basic fitness level
• Age - 21 to 30 years

(relaxation for other sc/st/obc candidate)

General Candidate will have four attempts for this examination

(relaxation for other sc/st/obc candidate)


Part-I : Candidates are required to appear in the following papers of conventional type papers.

For Indian Economic Service

(a) General English 100 Marks
(b) General Studies 100 Marks
(c) General Economics-I 200 Marks
(d) General Economics-II 200 Marks
(e) General Economics-III 200 Marks
(f) General Economics 200 Marks

IES stands for Indian Economics Service .This is conducted by Union public Service Commission .

You have to complete Post graduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics course from a recognized University.

Yes , You are applicable for Indian Economics Service exam .

Final year candidate can apply here .

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for reserved category.
