Students who have completed post graduate they are all eligible to do Ph.d .

Many educational institutes in our country offer students the Phd course in mathematics.

One who want Ph.D First of the they will written entrance exam.

One who clear the entrance exam with good marks shall be called for personal interview.

They offer institutes according to merit.

The question paper pattern for the Ph.D shall have 2 parts.

in part A 10 question will be given. out of these, 6 have to be answered carry 40 marks.

in part B also 10 questions will be given. in the 6 have to be answered carry 60 marks.

Elements of Numerical Analysis

Linear Algebra

Ordinary Differential Equations

Partial Differential equations

To do Ph.D or Doctorate Degree after M.Sc in Mathematics you have to Qualify National Eligibility Test(NET).

NET is conducted every year by University Grants Commission(UGC) to get admission for Ph.D in Various Indian Universities.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NET:

* Candidate have to score at least 55% in Master's degree to qualify for NET.50% required for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

* Age of the candidate must be at least 22 years.

SELECTION PROCESS:

-> NET Qualifying Score.

-> Interview conducted by University.

In Mathematics Graph Theory is a good stream to do Ph.D.
