What do you mean by the word "fellowship" regarding phd programme.
What is the procedure to get into phd mathematics in iit and which iit(s) is offering it.what do you mean by "net" exam conducted all over india.also suggest some good colleges for phd mathematics

You must be thinking what a dumb question i am asking.but i am studing in my 12 standard and wish to do phd in maths.i asked for all this from my seniors even searched throughout google but didnt get satisfactory answers...please suggest.

Postgraduate degree from a recognized institution is the minimum qualification required for Ph.D course. As you are 12th class student, you have to pursue bachelor degree first, then move to PG degree and after that you can apply for Ph.D course. UGC NET exam is conducted for selecting candidates in to teaching jobs in government colleges. Postgraduate degree from a recognized institution with minimum 55% marks is the qualification required for attending the exam. The score obtained in the exam also acts as the criteria for selecting candidates as JRF. Those who got qualified as JRF can register for Ph.D with in a period of two years. After M.Sc Mathematics one can work as Equity Quantitative Analyst, Statistician, Risk Analyst, etc.

Sir, I have done my graduation from commerce now I have to approach for PhD in mathematics. Is it possible for me to do so? My maths is very good and I m teaching maths for higher std students but I want to gain an excellence in maths. Can u please guide me.

Minimum qualification to get admission in Ph.D course is post graduation or MA degree you must have. As you are now studying in class 12th after this you will have to complete graduation and then after post graduation and after this you will be able to get admission in Ph.D. So you have to concentrate on your study and keep looking forward like this. Actually my mother want to do Phd in mathematics. She recently completed M.Sc(maths) securing 45% marks. Can you tell how to apply for Ph.D course .

Even she has done B.Ed and have a experience in teaching for tenth class students.

Yes, after doing MSc in math and having a minimum of 55% in the exam is eligible for PhD math
