Sir, I got 55% marks in average in best of four subjects in HS+ 2 stage examination of cbse board held in 2012. I belong to OBC category. I wish to get admitted to B.Com.(G) in a college in Delhi this year. Kindly let me know about my prospects.Thanks, Abhik.

Hi friend..

There are many colleges in Delhi and the cut off marks in all these colleges differs.

But your percentage in 12th is very low.

With 55% marks and OBC category,there is almost no chance that you will get any college in DU.

So,you should try for a private college.

There are many other options available other than B.Com such as:-
1.BBA.
2.CA.
3.Hotel Management.
4.Fashion Designing.
5.Interior Designing etc.

So,if you are interested in any other course than B.Com,you can go for it.

In delhi university ,the admission is depend on your 12th standard marks......you need to obtain 60 % marks in your 12th standard......
1-the merit should be acc. to aggregate % of pcb or pcm +english sub.
2-u should have your 10 & 12 marksheet with passing certificate &migration also.

i am student of arts subject. can i take admission in b.com ?

To get the admission in B.com the eligibility criteria for the same is as under-

1. You should Complete 12th standard (or) Equivalent Course in any discipline from recognized University .

2. you should score Minimum 60% Percentage of marks in 12th standard .

3. There is no separate Entrance Examination for B.com Course .

4. You may get direct admission after 12th standard .

The Application forms are available during the Month of April / May and the Admission Process may held during the Month of May to July .

Each year a cut of list of percentages is displayed in the various newspapers of the different colleges.One must go through the same & then apply in the college in which the candidate is willing to get the admission for the same.After the selection He can deposited the fees & can attend the classes.
