IPS stands for Indian Police service. IPS exam is conducted by UPSC.There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam.This exam is conduct through Civil Service Exam. ELIGIBILITY: Nationality: The candidate should be Citizen of India. Educational Qualification: The applicant should pass the Bachelor degree from recognized university. The candidate not required the percentage for this exam. Final year pursuinga candidates are eligible to write the Civil Service examinations. Age limit: The candidate minimum age limit should be above 21 years. The candidate maximum age limit should be below 30 years. Relaxation: 33 years upper age for the OBC candidates. 35 years upper age for the Sc/ST. 40 years upper age for the PWD candidates. No of Attempts: 4 for General Candidates. 7 for OBC Candidates. No limit for the SC/ST Candidates. SELECTION PROCESS: Preliminary Examination Main Examination Interview All the best. |

Indian Police services(IPS) this exam is conducted by Union Public service Commission(UPSC).To become a IPS officer you need to crack the Civil service exam. I am sorry to say that you have not eligibile crack this exam. YOU should complete graduation in any stream.
Then you give I.A.S exam.I told you I.A.S exam eligibility. Age Limit for IAS exams : MINIMUM: 21 years General Category:30 years. (OBC):33 years. ST/SC:35 years. Educational Qualification >The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recongnized university >Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university. Number of attempts permitted: General Category: 4 OBC: 7 SC & ST: No limit GOOD LUCK |
