JAM i.e Joint Admission Test for Management

For getting admission in IIT's for M.Sc admissions for two years or for M.Sc-Ph.D dual degree and other post bachelor's degree programmes you have to go through Joint Admission Test for M.Sc i.e JAM.

The main aim of JAM is to provide admission to various courses under M.Sc and Under Joint/Integrated M.Sc-Ph.D Dual degree. People can't just like that apply for it, you must have to follow some eligibility restriction i.e at least 55% aggregate marks under general category/OBC category and 50% for SC/ST and PD in their qualifying degree or UG degree. For proof of having passed, you must submit your documents before 30th of Sept 13 for 2013 admission. Pattern of exam will of 3 hours duration for specific paper i.e Compute application, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics from 9AM to 12PM. II session is from 2PM-5PM which is Biotechnology, Geophysics.

It is good that you are you have completed your Bachelors Degree as Bachelor in science stream. For getting the admission in IITs for the MSc course, you have to appear in the entrance exam which is conducted by IIT is Self.

IIT conduct entrance exam known as Jam, joint admission test for management, this exam conduct for MSc or MSc with PhD dual degree courses.

For being eligible in this exam, it is must to have a bachelor's degree in science stream with minimum 55 % in aggregate. There is relaxation by 5 % for the reserved category student.

Hello,
You can do MSc through the topmost colleges in India that are IITs or IISc. The IIT JAM exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the MSc, P.Hd., or dual degree courses from IIT or IISc.
IIT JAM is known as Indian Institute of Technology- Joint admission test for the MSc, Ph.D. or dual degree courses in 7 different subjects namely biological science, biotechnology, chemistry, geology, Mathematics, Mathematical statistic, and physics.
You can choose one of the subjects if you fulfill other eligibility criteria.
The candidates should be graduated from recognized university with minimum 55%marks.
