My name is Siddiq Jameer Patait, I am studying Diploma in Civil Engineering and I'm in second year right now. So, my question is how to take admission in IIT college after completing my Diploma and what is the procedure to take admission in IIT?

Yes, you are eligible to get admission in IIT after diploma in Civil Engineering. To get admission you have to appear and qualify in both stages of JEE.

JEE ( Joint Entrance Examination ) is conducted by CBSE and IIT. The examination is conducted in two stages as Mains and Advanced.

You have to qualify with a good score to get admission in IIT. You are not eligible for admission in NIT and state government colleges.

Yes, diploma candidates are eligible for admission in Indian Institute of Technology. You need to apply for Joint Entrance Examination. JEE is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. CBSE conducts JEE Main and JEE Advanced.

The last date to apply for JEE exam 2018 is over now. You need to wait for next year notification which will be available in December, 2018. You will have to clear JEE Main and Advanced for final selection in IITs for Bachelor of Technology course.

You cannot directly take admission to 2nd year of graduation course in IITs after completing Diploma. You must complete your 12th standard first, then apply for JEE Main exam, followed by JEE Advanced Exam. If you qualify these exams, then only you will get admission to IIT.
