For becoming an Income tax officer Is it necessary to clear the Exam such UPSC , MPSC.

Without this exam is it possible to appear for the exam of Income tax officer?

Income Tax recruitment is done through UPSC

you need to appear for UPSC civil services examination

and if you clear with a very good rank

like in 500 around you will get IRS cadre

short for Indian revenue service ... which is the

elite Income tax job and you will get to become IT-comissioner

etc.
