Re: How to get good marks in CA CPT?
CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test. If you want to become Chartered Accountant, this is the first examination you need to clear.
This entrance exam is held every year twice and is conducted by ICAI. Candidate who has done 10+2 from a recognized stream can appear for this test. Chartered Accountancy has three stages: >>Common Proficiency test. >>Integrated Professional Competence Course and Articleship. >>Final course. CPT is an objective examination consisting of 200 multiple choice questions. It consists of questions from following sections: 1. Accounting of 60 marks. 2. Mercantile law of 40 marks. 3. Economics of 50 marks. 4. Quantitative Aptitude of 50 marks. Each wrong answer carries 0.25 negative marks. In order to pass the Common Proficiency test, a candidate is required to score minimum of 30 % marks in each section and 50% marks in overall. So as to get good marks, see the previous years papers of CPT exam, practice questions as much as possible on these four subjects. If you do sufficient labour and practice on these areas, you can easily crack the exam. |
