In case of cgpa marks what does it mean yhat 7 Pointer is equal to 70%or not? Plz clarify me sir.

To get into ISRO as a scientist you must have following qualifications:

-B.E/ B.Tech. with 65 % marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Those who are in final year of Graduation and are expecting their result in time are also eligible to apply .

-Age must not be above 35 years if you want to apply for the scientist post.

The selection is based on following pattern:

-Written Examination

-Personal Interview

So get a good rank in the ISRO test and doing well in the personal interview will guarantee you a job in ISRO.

ISRO recruits B. Tech. engineers for Scientist / Engineer - SC post from two sources:

1. Indian Institute for Space Science & Technology, Thiruvananthapuram: This is govt. of India aided institute which specifically prepares student for space research

2. ISRO CENTRALISED RECRUITMENT BOARD (ICRB): This exam is conducted at central level.

The syllabus is similar to GATE. But, the questions will be more of theoretical / conceptual rather than mathematical. The selection process involves written test followed by personal interview focused on subject knowledge.
