Re: How to get a job in ONGC after B.Com? What is the percentage required?
Directly addressing your answer, with B.com degree it is very difficult to secure a job in organisations like ONGC.
See, its an Oil and gas Corporation so there are more jobs for people for technical candidates. No doubts, accounts department is an important key for any organisation but the number of vacancies is very small and that too with reservation in various posts, the road becomes even tougher. So, i would not suggest you to try that much in these companies. You should try in those companies which are related to your trade because now it is also not advisable that you do a technical course after B.com. If you want a government departments then you can try in various other department. Every month some or the other state issues notification comes which require accountants. You can apply in those posts. |

Re: How to get a job in ONGC after B.Com? What is the percentage required?
ONGC means Oil and Natural Gas Corporation. I don't say that there are no jobs in ONGC for B.Com because every company need B.Com or MBA candidates for finance or accounts department. But there will be few jobs for B.Com candidates.
Every year ONGC releases couple of notifications for B.Com or MBA candidates. You need to apply for them to get into ONGC. So, keep referring daily news papers and ONGC website to come to know regarding the openings. But don't confine yourself to ONGC only. You may get job in ONGC or not. It all depends on your luck and on the basis of your performance in written exam. Parallelly, apply for other jobs as well on the basis of your B.Com. |
