After completion of your intermediate it is the right time to take a right step.
if you want to get a railway job you need atleast 60% of marks in intermediate.
For getting a job in railways, UPSE will conduct examination every year in which it consist of some groups.

Based on the groups which you will write they will give you that particular job.

Otherwise it is better to you to do graduation studies then you will get higher posts in railways like junior and senior engineers etc.

If you want to do after inter only means, then in news papers notifications will be released
so get aware of it and don't miss the chance.

Total Sixty five (equal to 65) posts

Age Limit: For Sr. Section Engineers positions age limit is 18 years to 33 years
Educational qualification: - Diploma in Engineering in any stream can apply

RRB examination 2012 for engineers syllabus, selection procedure and moreRailway recruitment board will conduct written examination for shortlisted candidates (according to merit). Candidates have to verified their original certificate.
For engineering position written test will be of objective type which will be conducted two hours which has one hundred and fifty questions. There is 1/3 negative marks for any wrong answer.

Application fee, How to apply and more informationApplication fees: The candidates belongs to schedule caste, schedule tribe, Ex-Servicemen, Physically handicapped, Women candidates, economically backward candidates who have less than fifty thousand as annual income not need pay any application fees. Rest of the other candidates have to pay sixtyfor each application through Demand Draft / IPO drawn in favour of "Assistant Secretary, or Deputy Secretary or Secretary or Member Secretary or Chairman of Railway Recruitment Board concerned.


How to apply: Only prescribed application form will be accept by RRB. Caniddates may fill the form cleanly and correctly. No correction after receipt of application form. the premises of the concerned RRB offices till last date by post to the concerned RRB.

To apply for railways you are eligible to appear for SCRA conducted by UPSC every year.

SCRA is Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam

Eligibility

Age Criteria: Minimum of 17 years & maximum 21 years of age till date of advt

Minimum Educational Qualification:
Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
or
Higher Secondary (12 years) Examination under 10 plus 2 pattern of School Education with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination.
