i m doing job in police department but i want to get job through civil service exam as ips so plz tell me wats the strategy we r follow by which we get success in short time and tell me the top class coaching instutions

You can crack the IPS exam easily .
Firstly if possible join in any of the best coaching centre which you feel convenient as we have various coaching centers all over INDIA.

strategy and books to be followed:

First focus mostly on prelims and refer to the books of NCERT from 7th to 12th classes.

Then after clearing preliminary focus on MAINS and prepare below list:

1.Indian History – India Struggle for Independence by Bipin Chandra;
NCERT Books(XI&XII)
2.Geography – Spectrum
3.Indian Polity – Constitution of India by Bakshi
4.Indian Economy – Plus One, Plus Two Books, Pratiyogita Darpan
5.General Science – Tata Mc Graw Hill Guide
6.Mental Ability – Quantitative Aptitude by R.S. Aggarwal
7.Current Affairs – Some magazines and Newspapers.

The attend some mock interview and attend the Personal interview and try to stand in the top position so tat you can choose which post you want so that you can see yourself as an IPS officer.
