How to join Army after completion of 12th Class?

Dear Aspirant, It is to inform that after completing 12th standard if you want to join Indian Army then you will have to appear in UPSC NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted twice in year in the form of National Defence Academy(I) & National Defence Academy((II) Exam.


Eligibility conditions for NDA(Indian Army):

Qualification:- 12th passed in any stream whether Art/Commerce /Science.

Percentage:- No percentage bar.

Age limit:- Between 16.5 to 19 years.

Martial Status:- Unmarried

Gender:- Male

Nationality:- Indian

Physical standard:- Must be Physical & Mentally fit.






Pattern of UPSC NDA Exam:

NDA exam is divided intwo two Stages..

Hi, you may definitely join the
NDA after degree/ graduation
provided you are within 24 years
of age. The recruitment of
candidates to Army, Navy and Air
force wings of the National
Defence Academy (NDA), is
through National Defence
Academy Entrance Exam which is
held twice a year, generally in the
month of April and September.
NDA exam is conducted by the
UPSC. A candidate must be an
unmarried male. The course of
training is for three years. For
Air Force and Naval Wings of
National Defence Academy and
for the 10+2 (Executive Branch)
Course at the Naval Academy the
requirement is 12th Class pass of
the 10+2 pattern of School
Education or equilvalent with
Physics and Mathematics
conducted by a State Education
Board or a University. The
Physical Standards for National
Defence Academy and Naval
Academy Examination requires
candidates to be physically fit
according to physical standards
for admission to National
Defence Academy and Naval
Academy Examination provided
in the website http://nda.nic.in/.

After 12th you can join Indian Army through appearing for NDA(National Defence Academy) exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II.

The candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with sound physical condition.

The selection is through writteb exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

hi!!

one can join the indian defence services by giving the exam called NDA which stands for national defence academy for which the exam is conducted twice every year,by The Union Public Service Commission.

for this one needs to be eligible to write the exam,hence the eligibility criteria is as under:::

-minimum 60% in class XII from a recognized university/board

-only male candidates can aply.

-age should be b/w 16.5 to 19 years.

-for selection through navy or airforce one needs to have physics +maths as the main subjects.
