Yes. The candidates are eligible to join Indian Army after completion of 12th class.

Here is the complete procedure through which you can join Indian Army.

The selection process would involve
-NDA Exam
-Interview
-Medical Test

NDA Exam is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

This exam is not only for to join Indian Army.

This exam is the common entrance exam for the candidates to join various defence services like
Army wing
Navy wing
Air Force wing

Required eligibility criteria in order to apply for this exam is

-Completion of 12th class from a recognized college in order to apply for Army wing
-Completion of 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects in order to apply for Navy and Air Force wings.

Required age should be 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

There is no relaxation in upper age limit for the candidates of any category.

The candidate should be citizen of India.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this exam.

You can join Indian Army through NDA exam after passing 12th class.

NDA stand for National Defence Academy.

National Defence Academy exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice in a year to recruits the candidates in Army, Navy & Air Force wings of National Defence Academy.

Eligibility criteria for NDA Examination :-

Only unmarried indian male candidates are eligible.

For Army wing of National Defence Academy:-

Candidate must have completed 10+2 exam of a recognized School or Board or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy:-

Candidate must have completed 10+2 with PCM subjects or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing int he 12th Class under 10+2 Pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Age limit:-

Age should be between 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

Only the Unmarried Male Candidates born not earlier than 2nd January,1996 and not later than 1st January ,1999 are eligible.

# After 10+2, only National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination is the only best way to join Indian Defence Forces.

# Through NDA Examination, one can join following Indian defence forces:

* Indian Army
* Indian Navy
* Indian Air Force

# Major eligibility criteria for NDA Examination are:

* 10+2 in any stream from recognised board
* Male candidate
* Unmarried status
* Indian citizen
* Perfectly physically and medically fit

# Age limit required for NDA Examination:

* Minimum age: 16.5 years
* Maximum age: 19 years

Well friend as you are 12th pass out then you can join Indian army through nda exam.Nda exam is conducted twice in a year by upsc for the recruitment in Indian defense services.
ELIGIBILITY:
1.You must have completed your 12th from any recognized board with physics chemistry and mathematics.
2.You should have secured atleast 60% marks in your 12th.
3.Age limit for this exam is 16.5-19 years.
