yes you con go in indian army .But for that you need to crack NDA EXAM .

ELIGIBILITY CRIETERIA

• XII Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities.
• Candidate appearing for above examination can also apply.
• Unmarried male candidates
• only Age between 16 1/2 to 19 years are alowed

If you have completed your 12Th examination from a recognised Board, then Yes you are eligible to apply for Indian Army.

If your aim is to Join Indian Army after 12Th, then please apply for NDA Examination soon.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year for the Recruitment of these 3 wings :

>> Army Wings
>> Naval Wings
>> Air Force Wings

If you have completed your Graduate degree course with Commerce, then you are eligible to apply for Army Wings of NDA.

For Naval and Air Force wings you have to complete your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects.

But Please dont worry because you are eligible for Army Wings.

So, If your age should between 16.5 to 19 Years and If you are born not earlier than 2nd January, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1996, then you are apply for NDA (I) 2012 Examination.

The Notification was already declared and the Online application form Process was already started, The last date of apply for NDA Examination is 30/Jan/2012 and the examination will be held on 15/April/2012.

After completion of 12th class in commerce field you want to join in Indian Army.

Then you have to qualify in defense service exam like- NDA.
Which is conducted by UPSC twice in every year.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam:

For Indian Army:-

1.Candidate must have complete the 12th in any trade.
2.Candidates age should be in between 16.5-19 years.
3.Candidate must be physically fit.
4.Candidate must be a citizen of India.
5.Candidate must be unmarried male.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill..

After the completion of your 12Th examination you are apply for Indian Army.

Yon can appply to NDAexamination, this examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year for the Recruitment of these 3 wings :

After completion of your graduation degree in commerce you can apply for army.

All the information regarding NDA was already declared.

You can also apply for the SSB, whose exam is also conducted twice a year through which you can apply for army. And also you can get some national expousere.

You can join army through the NDA examination which is conducted every year twice by UPSC..

NDA examination :: This examination is conducted by UPSC.The examination is held two times in a year and students can apply both year .The examination is held generally in month of April and August.This examination is conducted for selecting students in:

1.ARMY
2.NAVY
3.AIR FORCE

You can apply for any fields or all three field according to your preferences .

The NDA examination is done in three phases ::

1.Written exam
2.SSB
3.Medical .

Written examination consist of two papers ::



Eligibility for the exam ::

Interested candidates must have passed your class 12th examination in any streams for the ARMY and you must have physics and maths a s a compulsory subjects for the NAVY and AIR FORCE .

You should not be less then 16.5 and more then 19 years

Sorry to say that commerce student are not eligible for NDA exam.(Eligible only for Indian Army)

NDA - Stands for National Defence Academy


This examination is conducted by the Union public service commission (UPSC) twice in a year.

As my knowledge there are some basic and important eligibility criteria are described below-

AGE: - Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

NOTE: - Only unmarried males are eligible.

Educational Qualification : - candidates must passed 10+12th with Physics and Maths and have to minimal 60% in 10th.

NOTE : - Candidates must be physically and medically fit for the NDA test.

You are from commerce department so you are eligible for only Indian Army departments for NDA exam.

Eligibility criteria for NDA exam:

Education qualification:

For Indian Air Force Academy:You should have complete 12th class with any stream from a recognized university with 55% marks
For Indian Army Academy:You should have complete 12th class with any stream from a recognized university.

Age Limit:

Your age should be in between 16 1/2 19 years.

You must have citizenship of India.

Only unmarried male candidate are eligible.

EXAM DATE FOR NDA I EXAM:-

Date of commencement of notification : 31-12-2011
Last date to receive completed application forms : 30-01-2012
Date of NDA I Exam : 15-04-2012


EXAM DATE FOR NDA II EXAM:-

After passing 12th with commerce stream you can join Indian Army.
For this you have to qualify the national Defence Academy(N.D.A) exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

After qualifying N.D.A exam you can join Defence services like:-
> Army
> Air Force
> Navy

If you want to go for Indian Army then its good but you need to clear the exam of NDA. NDA exam is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted twice in a year and it is a tough exam to clear as every year lac of candidate sit for the exam and only a few of them get a chance to go for the NDA.

The eligibility of NDA is as follows :-

1. Candidate must have 16.5 minimum and 19 years of maximum age
2. No relaxation is given to anybody and selection is purely on merit basis
3. Only Males candidate can apply, females are not allowed
4. Only Indian citizen are eligible,
5. Only unmarried candidate are eligible
6. Maths and Physics should be compulsory subject for Air force and Navy
7. Any subject is okay for Army.

See you need to have some physical qualification also which are as follows :-

Must not have Flat feet
Height :- 157.5 cm
Weight :- Not less then 50 KG
Chest :- 80 cm
Expansion :- 5 CM
Good eye sight (6/6,6/9)
Must not have Flat feet
