How to join idian army
i want to make my career in indian army.

In current scenario, many of the candidates are showing much interest to join variety of Defence services like
-Army
-Navy
-Air Force.

The minimum academic qualification with which a candidate can join Indian Army is by completing 12th class.

This NDA Exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year. One can join variety of Defence services like Army, Navy and Air Force through NDA Exam.

In order to be eligible for NDA Exam, one should have completed 12th class with any of the stream in order to be eligible for Army wing.

But in order to join Navy and Air Force wings, one should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects.

Candidates who are pursuing final year of 12th class are also eligible to appear for this exam.

One should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam.

You should be an unmarried male candidate to take up this exam.

The upcoming NDA Exam is going to be conducted on 15-04-2012. The last date to apply for this exam is by 30-01-2012.

To join in Indian Army there are many ways. Some of them are

1. NDA:
NDA is an exam named as National Defense Academy exam. This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission of India commonly called as UPSC. This exam is for selecting people for defense services of India. For appearing in this exam you must have completed your 12th std from a recognized board. As you want to join in Army you are eligible with whatever stream you have chosen in 12th std.

2. CDS:
CDS is an exam named as Combined Defense Service Examination. This exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission of India commonly called as UPSC. This exam is also for selecting people for defense services of India. For appearing in this exam you must have completed your graduation of any stream from a recognized university. If you want to join in Army you are eligible with any graduation course for appearing in this exam.

3. UES:

UES is a mode of entry which can be expanded as University Entry Scheme. To join in Indian Army through this scheme you must have completed your graduation of any stream from a recognized university with at least 60% as aggregate.

4. NCC entry:

NCC is mode of entry. To join in Indian Army through this entry you must have completed your graduation with at least 60% as your aggregate. You also must have at least 'C' grade certificate of NCC to join in army through this scheme.

You have not mention your your academic details .So i have listed here some recruitment process for Indian Army.

If you have completed 12th standard with science stream then you are applicable for NDA exam.Those are from Arts and commerce department are applicable for Indian army post.

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.Only Indian citizenship candidate are applicable.Only Unmarried male candidate are eligible.

Those who have completed Engineering degree are applicable for AFCAT exam which is conduct for Indian army.

If you have completed graduation degree then you are applicable for UES ,CDS,NCC SPECIAL entry exam.

But your age should be in between 21 to 27 years.

You have not mentioned your stream , otherwise it will be easier for us to suggest you.

If you have done 12th then you can go for NDA exam.

Through NDA exam you can join Indian Army.

Eligibility for Indian Army:-

1.Candidate has to complete the 12th in any trade.

2.Age should be in between 16.5-19 years.

3.candidate should be a citizen of India.

4.candidate must be physically fit.

These are the eligibility criteria you have o fulfill.

If you are doing any graduation course then after completion of that you can go for CDS exam.

Eligibility for CDS exam:-

For Indian Military Academy:-

1.Candidate has to complete the graduation in any trade.

2.Age should be in between 19-24 years.

3.Candidate must be physically fit.

4.Candidate should be a citizen of India.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill to appear in CDS exam.

These are entrance exams for defense..

To serve as solider in indian army you need to have a minimum qualification i.e., 50% marks after your 12th standard.

The UPSC (union public service commission) is responsible for conducting entrance exam twice in a year which you have to clear first.once you have cleared this exam you will personal interview for 5 days after clearing this you will be send to the national defence academy(NDA) for pre commission training to recruit the candidates into the army.

You can join Indian army after passing the 12th.
For this you have to qualify the N.D.A exam.

If you want to apply after graduation then you have to qualify the C.D.S exam.
C.D.S and N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

After qualifying N.D.A or C.D.S exam you can join Defence services like:-
> Army
> Air Force
> Navy

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

Eligibility criteria for C.D.S:-
> Pass graduation with recognized university
> Age limit:-19-24 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

these is for the 10th passed student to join indian army.
2.after 12th sceince NDA which is the upsc held exam at the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age.
