It is good to see that you are interested to Join Indian Army just after completing your Intermediate examination and yes you are eligible to apply for National Defence Academy examination to Join Indian Army. This examination is conducted by UPSC, two times in a year and to apply for this examination you just need Intermediate degree.

Only Unmarried male candidates are eligible for this entry and your age should between 16.5 to 19 years, Your age should not be more than 19 years at the time of commencement of Training.

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1995 and not later than 1st July, 1997 are eligible. If you fulfill the mentioned eligibility then you are eligible for NDA Examination.

The Notification of Next year NDA(I) Examination is going to be Published soon next year. After Notification you can fill the application form online only.

If you are PCB Candidate then you are eligible for Army wings of NDA.

To apply for this examination, you must be medically and physically fit in all the respects. The examination is objective with negative marking, if you cracked the written test then you are eligible for SSB, If you want more information, then please check official website.

Dates of NDA(I) 2013:

=> Date of Notification Published: 22/Dec/2012
=> Last Date of online application: 21/Jan/2013
=> Examination Date: 07/April/2013.

After 12th with PCB you can join Indian Army by cracking NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

To be eligible for Indian Army of NDA, one must be an unmarried Indian male candidate only.
He should have either appeared for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board.
He should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Physique.

NDA can be applied on line by paying requisite fees for the exam.

The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

In order to join Indian Army, you have to first clear the entrance exam of NDA(National Defense Academy)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The candidate must have passed the 10+2 with minimum 60% marks from recognized board.

2. Candidate must be unmarried and only male candidates are eligible for this.

3. Must be citizen of India.

4. Candidate should be physically fit.

5. Age Limit: 16.5 to 19 years

1.You must have completed 10+2 from a recognized state borad
