Since you have not qualified +2 level of exams, you will have to apply in Indian Army on the basis of matriculation. As you have mentioned that your age is 22 years, the only post for which you may apply in Indian Army is Soldier Tradesmen . The maximum age limit to apply for the post is 23 years.
Apart from this, there are no possible entry modes in Indian Army as per your qualification and age.
To apply for the same, you will have to contact your nearest Army Recruiting Office.

Hi,
yeah sure you can join the army with your 12th standard marks.
But if you clear all the papers and persue a degree certificate,then you are having a chance of getting higher post.

So,I would advice you to complete your degree.

You have failed in 12th class, so you will not be able to apply for officer post in Indian Army..
As you are already 22 years old then I will suggest you to apply for soldier tradesman service.. For that you have to appear in common entrance exam of soldier tradesman...
The exam is held four times in a year..

Eligibility for Soldier tradesman:-------------------
----------------------------------------------------

1.The candidate should be a citizen of India.
2.The Age should be in between 17.5-23 years.
3.The candidate must have complete the metric...

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
So, get prepare for the exam.

i have passed 12th with 71%, but have less agregate of 58% in engineering in electronics and communication, and will be of 22 in july 2012, i want to serve my country through indian army ,,,,,plz suggest me.......!

I am sorry to say that you can't join Indian Army without passing 12th with any stream.

If you want to join Indian army then you have to pass at least 12th class with any stream.

After passing 12th you can join Army as a solider.

For this you contact the Army Recruitment Office(A.R.O)
The will tell you the date of recruitment in Indian army.

Read employment news paper daily.

Having not completed 12th class and at the age of 22 years, you are not eligible to join Indian Army.

The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates in order to apply for Army is 12th class.

The Entrance Exam will be NDA Exam which will be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

The required age criteria will be 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

You are not maintaining both required academic qualification and age criteria.

It is too late for you to decide upon your career of joining in defence services.

So, I don't have anything with me to suggest you.

The reason is if you are not able to complete your 10+2 itself, then how can you crack an Entrance Exam which is having healthy competition among the candidates.

So, first you have to be strong enough yourself in academics and subject knowledge. Then only you can complete your 10+2.

After that only, you can do something like opting for Graduation in your respective stream.

You don't need to worry about your failure in 10+2. I don't know the reasons why it was done.

Put your best efforts. Then you can complete it successfully.

However there is a chance for you to make entry into defence services after completion of your Graduation by cracking CDS (Combined Defence Services) Exam.

Try to join Graduation in a top college and carry out your preparation for CDS Exam along with academics.
