"Hii friend to join Indian Army you have to give any of these exams on the basics of your eligibility-

CDS(COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE EXAM)

this exam in for the student currenty in 12th or passed currently

Age Criteria-

Indian Military Academy - 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy - 19-23 Years
Naval Academy - 19-22 Years
Officer's Training Academy - 19-25 Years

AFCAT EXAM

there are three type of catagories under this exam according to post

Ground Duty Branches
AGE:20-27 years of age.
EDUCATION: Post graduation or Bachelor degree in any subject with at least 60% aggregate marks.

Flying Branches
AGE:19 years to 23 years.
EDUCATION:B.E / B.Tech degree or a Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks.

Technical Branches
AGE:18-28 years of age
EDUCATION:Aeronautical Engineering with minimum 60% mark.

You can join Indian Army through NDA entrance exam.

NDA-NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Central/State Bard within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good physical fitness.

After completion of 12th you can apply for Indian Army of NDA.

The selection is tjrough written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

i htink you should complete your graduation in medical as mbbs then join as a militry doctor it will be far better option then joining just after 12th

You want to serve the nation , which is really appreciable.
I am very sorry to say that, a 12th class passed girl is not eligible for the Indian army.
I mean , Girls can not apply for the NDA [NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY] examination, conducted by the Union public service commission [UPSC].
Through this examination, one can apply for all the combatant branches of the Indian army, ie.e in AIR FORCE,
NAVAL BRANCH
& IN MILITARY BRANCH.
The age limit for the NDA examination is 16.5-19 years

As girls are not eligible for this examination, so you have only option of completing your graduation in any stream ,AS YOU HAVE NOT THE SUBJECT MATHS IN 12TH , so you are not eligible for the NAVAL & AIR FORCE branch.
After graduation there is a CDS exam [combined defence services], conducted by the UPSC.
The age Limit for the CDS examination is 19-22 years for the NAVAL branch
19-23 years for the AIR FORCE ,
19-25 years for the INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY [IMA]

You must have Indian nationality..

you must have marital status unmarried.

Why can't girls apply for the NDA examination ?
Also,if they can't apply for NDA exam do they have the option to apply for CDS examination after being graduated ?
