HAving completed your +2,you can write for the written exam of NDA exam which is held twice a year by UPSC,India.


Your NCC qualification is an added advantage.

Here i am giving you the information about it.
N.D.A. & N.A. EXAM.(II), 2011
date of exam is 21.08.2011 (SUNDAY)

but the registration has been over. you can apply for next year.

NDA exam has Three Option One is Naval Academy , Secondly Army and Third one is Air Force.

Educational Qualification:-
Candidates appearing at the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions

Age limits:-
Must be in between 16-1/2 to 19 years of age.There is No relaxation for SC,ST and OBC.

Even You can Go for TES i.e Technical Entry Scheme after 12 with PCM marks.

hello, its so good to see you interested in the Army. You can go for NDA exam to join as an officer or you can join as a soldier, for soldier recruitment rallies are held at various places, keep contact with your NCC Unit and get the information. Go to a rally and i am sure you will get through, as you are fit and also a NCC cadet. You can continue swimming there also and they will provide you best opportunities in sports.

Dear Friend,

If you want to join Indian Army after class 12th then You need to appear the NDA examination conducted by UPSC.NDA examination is conducted twice in a year.

Eligibility For NDA Examination :-
A candidate must has passed class 12th from a recognized Institute and his age must be between 16.5 to 19 years.

As you want to join in Indian Army after your 12th , so you can join in Indian Army.. For that you have to appear in NDA exam..

The eligibility criteria for NDA-

You must have complete your 12th with physics,chemistry,maths with 60% marks..

your age should be in between 16-19years...

you must be physically fit like- Your hight, weight, eyesight..

if you fulfill the criteria then you can join in ARMY...

dear friend,

you can’t apply Indian army without completing 10+2 exam.

1.)Your age has already reached 20 years and the eligibility criteria says that you need to be between 16.5 - 19 years.

2.) The minimum educational qualification required for the Indian Army is 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60 % marks.

Eligibility for Indian Army :-

1) 10+2 (Through NDA)

You have to take an entry level exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to join NDA (National Defence Academy).
Eligibility for UPSC exam :-
a) Sex :- Male.
b) Age Limit :- Between 16 1/2 and 19.

Application Forms are published in leading
newspapers during March /April.

The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India.

Each year course start twice January and July.

UPSC (NDA) Syllabus is based on CBSE syllabus.

After clearing the written exam you have to go through a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step .

On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre- commission training.


2) Engineering Graduates (Direct Entry)

Engineering graduate can join the Indian Military Academy directly.

So, you only need to attend the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview.

Eligibility :-
Age Limit :- Between 20-27 years at the time of joining.

The course starts every year in the month of January and July.
Advertisement of the application form published in March/April & Oct./Nov in employment newspaper.

There are some selection procedure such as:

Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recuirt the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)

Generally,the notice is published in the month of March and September every year.

Eligibility Criteria:

i)19 to 23 years

ii)19 to 25 years for CPL Holders which is issued by DGCA ,India.

Upper age limit is relaxed up to 25 years.

Marital Status:

You have to be Single.

Nationality:

You have to be Indian

Gender:

Men and women can apply for the examination.

Educational Qualifications

1:You have to be Graduate of 3 years course in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

2. Final year students can also apply,having no backlog and minimum 60 % aggregate marks in the previous year's semesters.

Dear friend your are not eligible to apply for NDA because 12th is the minimum qualification
age limit is 16.5 yrs to 19yrs
syllabus
is general knowledge, India's history, a bit of army history, current affairs, CBSE 12th Std portion, analytically reasoning etc

notification in the month of march and October
applications to be reached by April and October/ November
the exam is conducted by UPSC
if you are national level swimmer then you can be selected under sports quota

NDA is the National Defense Academy.

NDA is an All India Entrance Exam, conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) two times in a year to recruit candidates for the various wings of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.

If anybody wishes to sit for the NDA exam, then he has to satisfy the following Eligibility Criteria's as :-



1. You should be an Unmarried Male Indian.

2. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board in India. No minimum percentage is required, but you should be pass in all the respective subjects.

3. Your age should be within 16.5 - 19 years.

4. If you wish to apply for the Indian Air Force or Navy then you should have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in your 10+2.

5. Physical fitness is also very important. No relaxations for the PD candidates are there.



So anybody who wishes to apply for the NDA should fulfill these.


Now the NDA exam usually asks about the elementary level Maths and Science questions. Also History and General Awareness questions are put up in this exam.

For this year i.e 2012, the registrations and applications for the NDA 2012 are already over. But if you have your age within limits, then next year also you can easily apply for this exam.

The NDA 2012 is scheduled on 15th April 2012 which is a Sunday.

After 12th or after graduation you can join Indian Army.As you are a candidate of 12th in commerce then you are also very much eligible for Indian Army.See you have to take information from different newspapers and websites when the vacancies of Navy will come and according to this you can apply.
You can also apply for N.D.A. and C.D.S.(Common Defense Services). There generally two examination are held for N.D.A., one is N.D.A.-1 and another is N.D.A.-2.You can also attempt both this two exam.

Yes you are now eligible for the indian army and your NCC cadet is an advantage for the entrance examination.
You will now apply for the NDA examination for getting into the indian army.
Educational Qualification:12th Class from any recognised university or 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent

There is no relaxation for the reservation candidates like SC,ST and OBC.
