GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering. It is entrance exam which Indian Institute of Technology and IISC Bangalore conducts every year for selection of candidates in top engineering colleges of India for M.Tech.
Eligibility criteria: 1. You must have done bachelor's degree in engineering or technology from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for the exam. Those who have done master's degree in science, mathematics or computer applications can also apply. Online application for the GATE 2016 has been started. You can apply at the official website of the GATE. GATE is now conducted online and is of 100 marks. Those who score top ranks can get chance to do job in top Public Sector Undertakings. |
