How to join IPS after completing graduation with B.Com(47%)
Sir, i want to join ips. I have comlete my graduation with b.com in 47%. Can i apply it or not? If yes, please give me full information about selection procedure, physical recuirment & upcoming recruitment date.

Graduation is enough to apply for civil services. Your age must be less than 30 years. Selection will be done on the basis of CSAT and mains. For IPS, one needs to qualify physical test also. Detailed information can be collected from UPSC site.

Hai,
Yes you are eligible for IPS(Indian Police Service) exam, which is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year. Eligibility criteria:- Candidate should be complete any bachelor's degree from any recognised university. No need of percentage restrictions to apply this exam. You must be an indian origin. Age criteria:- For General candidates--> 21 to 30 years, For OBC candidates--> 21 to 33years, For SC/ST candidates--> 21 to 35years. Selection process:- Civil Services Preliminary exam, Civil Services Mains exam, Personal interview. Number of attempts:- 4 times for General candidates, 7 times for OBC candidates, No limit for SC/ST candidates. YES, you can apply for this exam.
You have to appear in the UPSC Civil services exams. This exam is held to fill the below posts: Indian Administrative Service. Indian Foreign Service. Indian Police Service. Indian P & T Accounts & Finance Service, Group ‘A’. Indian Audit and Accounts Service, Group ‘A’. Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise), Group ‘A’. Indian Defence Accounts Service, Group ‘A’. Indian Revenue Service (I.T.), Group ‘A’. Indian Ordnance Factories Service, Group ‘A’ (Assistant Works Manager, Administration). Indian Postal Service, Group ‘A’. Indian Civil Accounts Service, Group ‘A’. Eligibilty to apply for this exam is Graduation pass.No Minimum percentage of marks is required in Graduation. Age of the candiadtes should be between 21 and 30 years Next UPSC Prelims exams would be held on 19th may 2013 |
