You have completed 12th standard so you are eligible for Indian Navy through NDA exam. If you once cleared NDA written exam, then you will go for next round like physical test and medical test which is conducted by SSB.

The details of NDA exam is given below.

NDA examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. NDA exam is conducted for recruitment in-Army wings, Navy wings, Air force Wings.

The minimum required qualification for NDA exam is 12th standard from a recognized board.

If your 12th subject is mathematics and Physics then you are eligible for all above wings otherwise you can apply only for Indian Army.

The candidates age should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidate.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply in NDA exam.

If you want to join Indian Navy then, you have to apply for the NDA examination. NDA stands for the National Defence Academy.

This exam is conducted for those candidates who want to join the Indian Defence service direct after completing their intermediates. This exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice time in a year.

Exam stages:

1. Written Exam,
2. SSB Interview and
3. Medical Test

Eligibility:

Candidates should have completed at least their 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects.

Age of candidates should be at least 16.5 years.

Upper age should not exist 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam.

Candidates must have nationality of India.


Physical Requirement:

• Minimum height - 157 cm.
• Vision should be 6/6 corrected with glasses.
• No color blindness.
• Chest expansion minimum 5 Cm.
