i would like to join NDA but i have short sight with glass power 2.5D

you are eligible if your eyes are 6/6 even if you have -2.5 no.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NDA EXAM

students who have completed 12th standard.

their age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only unmarried male candidate are applicable.

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR NDA EXAM:-

1) Written test which is conducted by UPSC.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for NDA because they want only normal eye sight.

So you can try for different kind of jobs.

I think you have not fulfill the eye-sight criteria.

The details about NDA exam is given below.

Educational Qualification:

(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

Age:

Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years

EXAM DATE FOR NDA EXAM:-

Date of commencement of notification : 31-12-2011
Last date to receive completed application forms : 30-01-2012
Date of NDA I Exam : 15-04-2012

If you are satisfy the vision standards then you are eligible to apply for NDA examination.

Eye Standards for this examination :-

For Naval Candidates :-

-Uncorrected without glass :- 6/6
-corrected with glass :- 6/6
-Limits of Myopia :- -0.75
-Limits of Hypermetropia :- +1.5
-Limits of colour Preception :- I
-Binocular Vision :- III

For Air force Candidates :-

-Uncorrected without glass :- 6/6 , 6/9
-corrected with glass :- 6/6 (only for hypermetropia)
-Limits of Myopia :- Nil
-Limits of Hypermetropia :- +2.00 D Sph
-Color Vision :- CPI(MLT)
-Astigmatism :- +0.75 Cyl
-Near Vision :- N-5 each eye

Eligibility for NDA examination :-

If want to join in NDA examination then you have to finished your Intermediate(12th) examination from a reputed School or equivalent qualification.Those who are appearing in the 12th examination can also eligible to apply for this examination.

You age should be between 16.5 years and 19 years at the time of appearing for this examination and there is no relaxation given to reserved categories.

-Last date for receipt of application :- 30-01-12
-Date of examination :- 15-04-12

Yes you are eligible for N.D.A exam.

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

After qualifying N.D.A exam you can join Defence services like:-
> Army
> Air Force
> Navy

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

It seems that you are interested in doing NDA. But sorry, you cannot go for NDA as it requires eyesight 6'6. The National Defence Academy (NDA) is a joint service academy of the Indian armed forces.
The eligibility criteria for NDA is given below :
1. The candidate must have passed the 12th class examination with a minimum of 60% marks or any equivalent examination in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
2. Age limit - 16.5 years to 19.5 years.

The N.D.A exam is conducted by the U.P.S.C every year.this will help to the candidate to enter in the defense force after 12th.The eligibility required for the N.D.A exam are mentioned below.Only male candidate are allowed to prepare in this exam.candidate must have between the age of 16.5 year and 19year.
