Sir i am avinash a b.tech 3rd yr entering student in instrumentation and wants to make carrier in defence after complition of b.tech and also not want to waste my b.tech degree so can you suggest me the way to join defence but at btech level.

You can join defense by qualifying CDS or through technical entry scheme. Those having qualified in CDS exam can join as Officer level profiles like Asst Commandant. Engineering graduates can join to any of the three streams in defense. Upper age limit to join army, navy and air force are in the order of 24 years, 22 years, and 23 years.
